Rooted in the primordial essence of natural materials, my sculptural practice is a dialogue with stone and wood—substances that have shaped human civilization since its inception. These materials carry an inherent history, a tactile connection to the past that informs my work and aligns it with archetypal forms recognizable across cultures and time.

I seek harmony in the interplay of mass and void, surface and shadow, solidity and fluidity. My process is an act of distillation—coalescing the organic randomness of natural patterns into forms that resonate with balance, order, and a quiet sense of mystery. Each block of stone harbors infinite possibilities, and my challenge is to reveal the most profound and essential one.

The physicality of carving is integral to my artistic vision. The resistance of stone demands patience and precision, shaping not only the form but also the pace of creation. Each strike of the chisel is an assertion of intention, yet the process is equally one of listening—to the material’s natural grain, its fractures, its hidden potential. The slow, laborious nature of sculpting influences my approach to form: rather than imposing an idea onto the material, I engage in a dialogue with it, allowing the work to emerge through a balance of control and surrender. This engagement with the raw, elemental nature of stone gives my work a sense of presence—rooted in both the past and the immediacy of the human touch.

Most of my sculptures are intimate in scale, designed to become part of the human fabric of daily living. I am drawn to forms that invite interaction—objects that fit naturally within domestic spaces, that can be touched, held, and contemplated over time. In a world of constant motion, I seek to create pieces that offer stillness—works that integrate into the rhythm of life, offering moments of quiet resonance, grounding, and connection.
