Small Gems

December 1, 2023 - January 14, 2024

McBride Gallery's annual holiday group show, "Small Gems," runs from December 3rd to January 15th.
Our walls are covered with large and small gems for the holidays. The exhibit features a variety of art works,
which may be small in size, but big on creativity and skill.

Come visit us anytime, but especially for Midnight Madness, a favorite Annapolis holiday tradition.
Main Street comes alive with festivities, and McBride Gallery is no exception!
We will have artists demonstrating their skills and engaging in conversation,
themed snacks, and plenty of artworks to admire.

"Poetry in Painting"

August 17 - September 30

Sam Robinson

"Poetry in Painting" features Sam Robinson's love of landscapes, horses, gardens and more.
Sam says: "There is a poetry to be found in the look and feel of all nature..."
 
  
McBride Gallery will feature an exhibition of Robinson's recent oil paintings including a painting demonstration at the opening of the 33rd Annual Annapolis Art Walk, August 17th, 5 - 9 pm. Sam will be pleased to entertain questions and share his knowledge.
His painting demonstration will begin at 6:00pm. Come and enjoy the demonstration and conversation.
 
 
 Sam is a Maryland artist, who prefers working directly from life, capturing the "dynamics of the moment,"
with energetic strokes of color, expressing mood and movement.

"Keep Your Face to the Sun"

March 1 - April 20

Inspired by a favorite quote of Helen Keller, "Keep your face to the sun and you canot see the shadows,"
this exhibit hopes to inspire the viewer to see what sunshine (and optimism) can reveal
in nature and in the human spirit.

Spring is the favorite season for many as it brings longer days of bright warm sunshine.

Come enjoy this season of re-birth and renewal in nature!
